After all, it’s New Orleans, and we love to parade! Our annual St. Patrick’s Day Parades are considered another opportunity for family and friends to get together and enjoy a day outdoors. It seems as if the entire city is on the street with picnic baskets, umbrellas, and their recreational vehicles – enjoying one of the biggest street The Krewe of Argus has been rescheduled to parade alongside St. Patrick Metairie Road Parade. The approximately 3.6 mile route starts on 41st Street and Severn Avenue, proceeding south on Severn and turning left on Metairie Road. That Irish heritage, as well as all Irish history and culture in general, is celebrated every March 17 with parties and parades throughout New Orleans.
